Wix.com offers website’s analytics that help me better understand how readers and listeners use my website. The data will mostly be identifiers such as internet protocol address, email address, other similar identifiers. If you access desmotssanshistoire.com from a mobile device, device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, may be collected by analytics.

 

Analytics (Wix.com’s analytics and Google Analytics) will also collect derivative data after your consent. Derivative data includes your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing my website. If you are using our mobile application, the collected data may also include your device name and type, your operating system, your phone number, your country, as well as any other information you choose to provide.

I use the Wix.com platform to host desmotssanshistoire.  Wix.com provides a platform that allows me to engage with you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

data for analytics

This website is hosted by Wix.com which have their own analytics. Wix also facilitate the use of Google Analytics which I am in the right to use. Please note that all data used and stored through Wix is under my responsibility and can be deleted at any time under request. You can read how Wix is only a “processor”, and I am the “controller” here.

 

In a nutshell, using Wix’s words:

All the donation transfers are made via third-party. I do not have access to the financial data, I do not store it, and among all, I do not care about it but for the gesture it symbolizes. For more information, please visit the privacy policies of: Paypal, Patreon, Coinbase, and Amazon affiliates.

personal data

Only data that I directly collect are emails. I collect them through the connect banner. By entering your email, you consent to receiving (a) a confirmation email, (b) notifications when new words are released, and (c) a personal email, discussed in more detail below, if you chose to donate. Nothing else. You can always unsubscribe at your convenience within the email themselves.

 

Your email will be shared with Zapier (read their policy here) as they will relay it Mailerlite (read their policy here). As of now, I will use Mailerlite to communicate with followers. Mailmunch (read the privacy policy here) also has authorization to fetch your email, as the confirmation email will, temporarily, be managed by them.

 

For those who donate (paypal, patreon, coinbase), I will send you a personal email to (a) thank you, (b) ask you for your signature (does not have to be formal, your name written as your heart pleases). If you send me your signature, you are giving consent for (a) me digitalizing it, (b) adding it to the “thank you wall” on the thank you page, (c) adding your name to the thank you section in podcast’s show notes, and (d) mentioning your name with a grateful voice in podcast’s outro.

 

Your signature/name and email will therefore be collected. At any time, you can contact me to remove your signature from (b) (c), delete your picture from the website’s files, and stop thanking you for supporting me.
